Accreditations and Qualifications

Since graduating in 1997 with a BSc Hons in Physiotherapy, I have invested a lot of time developing my knowledge and skills, which has enabled me to offer high quality assessments and interventions.

My postgraduate training includes…
MAES Therapy

I am a MAES Trained Therapist having completed the Intro to MAES Therapy, 4 week MAES therapy course and ART Advanced MAES Therapy Course. I now assist on the 4 week courses.

MAES Therapy is a specialist course for Paediatric Therapists who want to gain new insights, increased knowledge and develop their clinical reasoning and treatment skills in relation to children with Cerebral Palsy and similar neurodevelopmental conditions. A new and pioneering approach based upon 25 years’ expert clinical and teaching experience world-wide and focusing on excellent treatment skills. Contact me today to discuss how I can help.

The Oswestry ORLAU Gait Course

This fantastic course has helped me understand typical gait, the reasons for deviations from this and appropriate options to address these. It helps me to feed into a child’s orthotic evaluations.
